The personal data of our business partners are stored and processed within the scope of the purpose of the contractual relationship according to Sections 28 and 29 BDSG [German Federal Data Protection Act]. In conjunction with access, data will be stored temporarily on our servers for purposes of data security, which might allow identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and websites visited).
We process your personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail, telephone number etc.) only in compliance with the provisions of the German data protection laws. Data are personal data if they can be unambiguously assigned to a specific natural person. We point out that internet-based data transmission involves security vulnerabilities and hence complete protection against access by third parties is impossible.
On our website, we offer an opportunity to apply of the ITB Buyers Circle. The data entered in the course of your application, as visible in the input mask of the application form (name, email, company details, countries and products of interest, ITB record, motivation) will be acquired and stored exclusively to establish, process and handle your application or the membership of the ITB Buyers Circle, and for market research purposes. Upon your application on our website, we will in addition store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This is done to protect ourselves in the event that a third party misuses your data and uses them to register on our website without your knowledge. The data will not be disclosed to any third party, unless you have given us your express consent. Likewise, the data acquired in this way will not be compared with other data that may be acquired by other components of our website.
Use of the web analysis service MATOMO
The information generated by the cookies, e.g. time, place and frequency of your website visits, including IP address, will be transmitted to and stored on our MATOMO server.
